Please welcome sponsored sledder, James Wallin for the 2017/18 season!
James grew up in Bradford, Ontario and didn't pick up sledding until his family moved up to Devin, Ontario. He got his first sled, a Polaris 550 fan cooled, short track and put that machine through the wringer. He always followed tell slednecks and 509 Inc movies and constantly dreamed of a day when he would take his passion into the Canadian mountains. He sold the 550 and upgraded to a 2007 Ski-doo Summit 800, with plans to finally make a trip to BC. Needless to say it never happened and he ended up quitting sledding for 4 years while in was in school, and working.
Fast forward to 2015, working in Alberta, he was determined to make hisdream come true. He ordered a 2016 Polaris Alys RMK 155 800, drove to Revelstoke and never looked back. This season will be his third season in the BC backcountry, but mark my word, James is no amateur.
Let's hear from james
"Riding in the backcountry is such as release for me. As soon as I pull into the parking lot with an awesome group of buddy's everything else in life seems to disappear. The camaraderie that we form with group of people we ride with is like nothing else. Riding through the breath taking mountains around this area is the all time stress relief. From just casual playing in open meadow to building kickers in the backcountry every part of it is amazing. I've been fortunate enough to be apart of the films I've looked up to growing which has been an amazing experience. I look forward to pushing myself further and further and see where this wild ride takes me. Anything is possible!"
